Version 0.6.8


Most of the work this release has been in the backend, preparing the game for steam. That's integration with achievements, steam cloud, and steam workshop. This 'may' cause bugs or strange behaviours given the steam version is not yet available / you do not own the game. Please do get into contact if you run into anything like this.


Changes

  • You can now aid the breakthrough of companions up to your current realm.
  • Reworded the Sublime Eye Shard tooltip to make it more obvious what the max stability version does.
  • Reworded the Methodical Path cauldron tooltip to make it obvious it's only for the next action (no stacking).
  • Big rework to combat animations again, to make them play consistently. It also changes most of the effects to make them less resource intensive.
  • Reworked the way mods are loaded. You now just add the zip, the loader will unzip it if needed.
  • Reduced the Golden Path quest start requirements from 100 to 35 craft skill.
  • Already used reagents are now disabled in the consume pill dialog.
  • Reworked the UI for displaying difficulty stars in the recipe list to handle large difficulty recipes better.
  • Added a jump to recipe button to the recipes list, letting you instantly go to the recipe of an ingredient (if you know it).
  • Tweaked the player component button icons to be a little larger.
  • The barrier mitigation tooltip now shows the computed barrier damage reduction.
  • Improved the quest start flow for crafting hall missions.
  • Improved UI when selecting a background during new game.
  • Improved UI on breaking through to have a 'wash-in' effect on the results dialog.
  • Added a visual burst of the loot gained from enemies when you kill them.
  • Reduced the maximum number of overhead buff images that can spawn from 75 to 25. This should help performance a LOT.

Balance Changes

  • Crafting control/intensity pills are now much stronger.
  • Buffed the Steady Hand Gem.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed many typos.
  • Fixed the Shadow Cloak quest continuation not starting.
  • Fixed the Permanence of Form Gem max barrier buff.
  • Fixed the pillar grid tutorial to actually match the new UI.
  • Added a recovery process on load that clears active tutorials.
  • Fixed Jiaohua talk interaction spawning Lingxi instead.
  • Fixed map events breaking when changing game version.
  • Fixed the flash of the new game screen on loading a save. Now you see a nice little loading symbol.
  • Fixed the Invoke Order base power mastery to actually apply.
  • Fixed the crafting results stats dialog not opening.
  • Fixed clicking in the pillar grid variant selector editing the grid beneath it.
  • Fixed display of qi requirements for breakthroughs.
  • Fixed the bug where opening a dialog in an event didn't disable the keybindings of the event, causing the event to advance as you typed into boxed (like the stance condition editor).
  • Fixed the event action buttons fade in taking a very long time when lots of the options are hidden.
  • Fixed bug where changing breakthrough completed requirements would cause the UI to shift around.
  • Fixed the lore around Zhiwu and sentience.
  • Fixed being healed during events not clearing the injured flag.
  • Fixed the ability to stack multiple realms of the same reagent.
